According to Realtor.com, Spokane is #3 on the list of hottest real estate markets for 2022, after Salt Lake City and Boise, and above Indianapolis, Columbus, Providence, Greenville, Seattle, Worcester, and Tampa.
The work-from-home trend is causing people to move from high priced cities to lower cost cities and Spokane is certainly less expensive (and less congested) than the Seattle-Tacoma area.
Money goes much further in Spokane than Seattle or California.
Spokane has a lot of outdoors activities available nearby, including hiking and cycling. There are a lot of lakes and ski resorts nearby as well. Besides Gonzaga University, the area is home to Eastern Washington University and Whitworth University.
