The National Association of Realtors performed research using a variety of factors and came up with the top 10 markets that have shown resilience during the Covid pandemic period and that they expect to perform well post-COVID-19 in 2021-2022. I don’t always pay attention to their predictions, as I prefer Wade’s Housing Alerts and Local Market Monitor. However, NAR’s economist was correct about Boise last year so has some credibility in my book.
The top 10 markets that they have identified, in alphabetical order, are:

- Charleston-North Charleston, South Carolina
- Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, Texas
- Des Moines-West Des Moines, Iowa

- Madison, Wisconsin
- Phoenix-Mesa-Chandler, Arizona
- Provo-Orem, Utah
